The trip started out the same way as always....stuck in Montreal and a $1000.00 day of hunting went up in smoke with $140.00 motel room...plus food. The weather is always the excuse the outfitters use for why the planes can't fly.....After four trips....I'm pretty sure they ain't got enough planes. The weather is tough....but when it gets good...it gits good. We saw signs of life the first day in camp. Fresh caribou tracks were here and there. We followed them tracks into some wild places. When it started to blow an snow......the first bou went through. Then the big bulls come through. So we took two. My Huntin PArtner......... That 77 year old huntin partner o mine.....shot the best bull of 32 hunters huntin the wild side......eee yaw! Hey....but when the bou drops...the fun stops. so you pack the heads down to the lake...then pack out 300 lbs. of meat.....100 lbs at a time.....fuggin bring it on. On the last day we decided to take some meat bulls home... so we did. The boys we hunted with were world class.
