I just thought id share this with you guys, at this time of the year --This is a well loved way of hunting those "Crop damaging kritters" "Well saturday afternoon came and it was time to head off to the woods to wait for the woodies to join us again. 4 of us went in, two at one end and two at the other, i joined up with Carl and the two of us were ready to bring em down! it was a quiet afternoon with only small groups coming in, unlike previous trips, were large groups were trying their best to make for the bigger trees. We rattled the shots off and down they came, 4 pigeons in the first 30 minutes fell victim to the Remmington and hopefully a few more would follow. And they did, as we called it a day- between us we had 11 pigeons and another squirrel and when we was walking out the wood a Rook came in and was soon brought crashing down. Not a bad afternoon at all." As for the other 2 guys..... just one crow between them, im thinking they might want to swap sides next time! *lol*

As for the trees, there a mix of Ash, Sycomore, Oak and firtrees, the smaller ones are harder to tell as the leafs have all fallen off. It not a very big wood, but big enough for us all to spread out in and get a good chance to shhot some pigeon. We eat the Pigeon, and the ferrets always get one too, it keeps them happy I dont shoot with Photopro, he lives about 90 miles away from me
